1.1 General Information
The Core Gas Determinator consists of a tube furnace (combustion tube) with a maximum temperature
capability of 850°C. It is equipped with an automatic temperature indicator–cum–controller,
10 boats, boat pusher, rubber cork, necessary rubber tubing, and complete volumetric glass apparatus.
1.2 General Usage
Used to determine the rate and amount of gas evolution from any particular sand mixture.
This helps evaluate core performance under thermal and chemical conditions.
